1take – LG G2 with 1 big mistake

My first take at the new LG G2. I had big hopes for the LG G2 after having a very positive experience owning the LG Optimus G Pro. Well, as expected it had top of the line 2013 specs. Nice 5.2″ display, super slim bezels, fast and being the 2nd Android phone with an OIS lens. But I and many of my friends/family were just utterly disappointed that they decided to not include Micro SD support as well as the removable battery for the international version. This instantly made the G2 a no buy device. Especially the lack of Micro SD slot made the phone far lacking than my previous 16GB G Pro with a 64GB Micro SD card inside or my friend’s S3 with 32GB card etc etc. The fact that the Korean version of the G2 comes with support for both just makes it even worse. Why not for the international version?!?! The extra 400mAh battery capacity is not worth an extra 64GB of storage space and the 32GB version pales in comparison while being more expensive! At least 5 people around me told me they are not going to buy the G2 due to lack of Micro SD support. So whoever made this decision at LG deserves an uppercut.

  1. I can happily say that this year’s G3 is awesome and gives you bragging rights to boot with its 2560×1440 IPS LCD, 3GB RAM, IR Auto Focus for its camera, Micro SD support and a replaceable battery with built-in wireless charging support out of the box.

    Thanks! Thumb up 0
